Ainsley Dicks is Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador, a registered charity whose mission is to promote and sustain healthy communities across the province by providing grant funding to a wide range of community organizations.
Ainsley has co-founded and served on the founding executive of numerous charitable initiatives, including Yale University's annual Trick-or-Eat food drive, Hips Against Hunger, the Queen's Helping Hands Association, and Queen's University's Cuts for Cancer.
Ainsley holds a doctorate in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from Yale University, which she attended on full fellowship. Her academic achievements and commitment to community service have been recognized with a number of awards, including a National Millennium Excellence Award, a Queen's University Chancellor's Scholarship, and a United World College Scholarship.
