Partner and Executive Producer
Éric Fournier joined Moment Factory in 2007 as a partner and executive producer, going on to develop the strategy that helped the company leverage its creativity and technological know-how to become a global leader in multimedia entertainment.
Prior to that, Mr. Fournier was Senior Vice–President, New Ventures, and member of the Executive Committee of Cirque du Soleil (2002–2006). In this capacity, he oversaw Cirque’s expansion into music, film, television, merchandise, special events, and entertainment complexes.
From 1996 to 2001, he was Vice-President, Strategic Planning at Bombardier, where he played an active role in turning the company into one of the world’s leading manufacturers of railway equipment. He also worked as a strategic adviser with SECOR from 1986 to 1995. Mr. Fournier holds an MBA from McGill University and a BBA from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Mr. Fournier is actively involved in his local community, most notably as a board member for the Children’s Heart Foundation and Montreal’s Pointe-à-Callières Archeological Museum.
